Activation Guide

To make Risontis operational, a small number of configuration steps must be completed.

1. Activate a license

Risontis requires an active license to operate.
Without a license, trading and configuration cannot be enabled.
All license-related actions are performed from the Settings tab in the Control Center.

To activate a license:

  • Open the License Manager.

  • Request a trial license or purchase a license.

  • Complete registration and checkout.

  • After checkout, refresh the license from the License Manager.

  • Close the License Manager and return to the Settings tab.

Payment verification

When activating a trial license, a temporary €0.01 verification charge may be applied to your payment method. This amount is automatically refunded.

2. Enter Bitvavo API credentials

To connect Risontis to your Bitvavo account, API credentials are required.
These credentials allow Risontis to retrieve account information and manage trades created by the system.

API credentials are stored and used only within your Google Sheets environment and are never shared externally.

Create API keys

API keys are created in your Bitvavo account.
If you are not familiar with creating API keys, go to support.bitvavo.com and search for “create API keys”.
Follow the instructions provided by Bitvavo to generate a new API key and API secret.

Required permissions:

  • View information

  • Trade digital currencies

Withdraw permissions are not required for Risontis to operate and should remain disabled.

Enter the credentials

After creating your API keys:

  • Open the Settings tab in the Control Center.

  • Enter your API Key and API Secret in the corresponding fields.

  • Save the settings.

After saving, Risontis validates the API credentials automatically.
If the credentials are invalid or the required permissions are not enabled, validation will fail and trading cannot be enabled.

3. Configure trading settings

In the Settings sheet:

  • Select the active trading profile (default: Balanced).

  • Specify the amount of capital you want Risontis to trade.

The specified amount:

  • must be available in your Bitvavo account,

  • must not be used for other purposes.

Trial licenses allow trading up to €5,000.

Enable trading

To enable trading:

  • Review all settings.

  • Enable Trading when you are ready.

Initial system behaviour

After trading is enabled, Risontis requires a short initialization period.
Some views may be inactive until this point. This is expected.

During the first 2–3 execution runs:

  • sheets and views may populate gradually,

  • some indicators, signals, or status fields may remain empty.

This is expected behaviour and does not indicate an error.
Once sufficient market data has been processed, all views will stabilise automatically.
No user action is required during this period.

License limits

Trading limits are determined by your active license tier and are enforced automatically by the system.
If a configured amount exceeds the limits of your license, trading will remain disabled until the configuration is adjusted.
