Installation Guide
Use the personal installation link supplied by Risontis and complete these steps in order.
1. Authorise Risontis Updater
Sign in with the Google account that will own the installation. That account will own the spreadsheet, the app and every setting, so choose the one you intend to keep using.
Risontis Updater asks for three permissions. Select all three. This is the central, verified Risontis service that creates your Sheet and your personal copy of the app; it cannot build them without all three.
2. Enable the Google Apps Script API if requested
Some accounts have this setting switched off. If the guided page appears, do the following:
- Select Open Google Apps Script settings.
- Switch the setting on there yourself.
- Return to the installer and select Continue.
This setting lives in your own Google account and Risontis cannot switch it on for you. If the button does not open a new tab, the same page also shows a plain link you can copy into your browser. If the page does not appear at all, your account already has the setting enabled and you can continue.
3. Open the new Risontis Sheet
The installer creates your Sheet and opens it automatically. If the tab does not open, use the button or link the installer shows on its final screen. Use only the Sheet created by the installer. Do not create or copy a Risontis Sheet manually.
4. Run setup
In the Sheet, open the Risontis menu and choose Run setup.
Google will warn that it hasn’t verified this app. Your copy is a private script bound to your own Sheet, inside your own Google account, so the developer Google names here is you. Google does not pre-verify personal copies. Choose Advanced, then Go to Risontis.
Select all requested permissions, or use Select all. A partial grant does not produce one clear error; it causes repeating authorization prompts. When setup completes, the Risontis app opens.
Installation is complete
Continue with the Activation Guide to activate your license, connect your exchange account and set your preferences.
If something goes wrong
- Repeating authorization prompts: open Google Account → Connections, remove Risontis, then run setup again and choose Select all.
- Setup did not finish: reopen the Sheet and choose Risontis → Run setup. Running it twice is safe.
