User sovereignty

Risontis is designed to run entirely within your own Google Workspace environment. You remain fully in control of when and how updates are applied.

Because of this architecture:

• Risontis cannot automatically update your installation.
• Update information is communicated, not enforced.

Users are advised to stay reasonably up to date. New releases may contain important improvements, fixes, or operational changes.
In exceptional cases, critical information may be highlighted more prominently via the update dialog. No updates are ever applied automatically.

Updates may involve either a library version update or a host update. The exact steps depend on the type of update and are described in the relevant release instructions.
