Risontis Updates

 This page describes current Risontis releases and how updates are applied.

User control

Risontis runs within the user’s own Google environment.

Risontis does not silently update an installation. An update starts only when an authorised user explicitly requests and approves it.

Users remain in control of whether and when an update is applied.

Applying updates

The update method depends on the release.

Supported updates may be applied through the Risontis Updater. The updater verifies the selected Google Apps Script project and the integrity of the release before making changes.

If the project, permissions, or release cannot be verified, the update stops.

Some releases may require separate instructions. These will be provided with the relevant release information.

Staying up to date

Users are advised to stay reasonably up to date.

New releases may contain important improvements, fixes, security updates, or operational changes. Important release information may also be displayed within Risontis.
