Risontis Updater

Purpose

The Risontis Updater allows an authorised user to install or update Risontis software in their own Google environment.

An installation or update starts only when the user explicitly requests and approves it.

Google Permissions

For an update, Risontis requests permission to:

Create and update Google Apps Script projects.
Create and update Google Apps Script deployments.

For a new installation, Risontis additionally requests permission to:

Create, find, and remove only the specific Google Drive files created or used by the Risontis installer.

These permissions are used only to install or update the Risontis installation selected by the user.

Access is temporary. Risontis does not request offline access or store Google refresh tokens. The access token is revoked when the maintenance transaction finishes.

What the Updater Accesses

The updater may access the source files, versions, manifest, and deployment configuration of the selected Apps Script project.

During installation, drive.file access is limited to files created or used by the Risontis installer. It does not provide access to unrelated Google Drive files.

Risontis does not access spreadsheet contents, exchange credentials, trading positions, orders, balances, strategy data, or unrelated Google Drive files through this maintenance service.

Safety and User Control

Before applying a release, the updater verifies the selected project and the integrity of the Risontis release.

If the project, permissions, or release cannot be verified, the operation stops.

Risontis does not silently or automatically update an installation. The user remains in control of whether and when an update is applied.
